Independent investigators at Duke have already been conducting research considered under the aegis of neuroeconomics. Duke has a world-class neuroimaging center with multiple research-dedicated MRI scanners, a top neurobiology department with multiple primate electrophysiologists and behavioral scientists, a long tradition of integrating cognitive psychology with economics in the Fuqua School, and well-established programs in cognitive neuroscience and cognitive psychology.
